MARCHING BAND KICKS OFF 2026 TOUR

Hanover Park High SchoolThe Cougar Marching Band is proud to announce its 2026 Season tour will kick off in nearby Hanover Park on September 26. The biggest CHS contingent ever will perform its field show, Club Fuego, in competition against other schools across New Jersey. Catch the Cougars at these stops:

MARCHING BAND FLEA MARKET & BAKE SALE FUNDRAISER
Sunday, September 27th, 11 AM–4 PM
CHS Gym Parking LotCome peruse attic treasures and basement finds, while supporting the Marching Band. Browse clothes, toys, games, small appliances, household items, jewelry, and bikes for the whole family.
There will be great bargains to be had, and all proceeds go directly to the marching band.
While there, grab some fresh-baked delicacies from our fleet of excellent parent bakers for the ride home! There’s homemade bread!

Student Groups Present First “Live at the Library” Band Showcase
MIC and MSC presented its inaugural student band showcase on December 4, featuring 10 CHS bands.
Excelsior Singers Bring Cheer to SOMSD Board Meeting
The Excelsior Singers, under the direction of Mr. Nicholas Diaz, opened the SOMSD November Board of Education meeting with a brief but beautiful performance. They set a joyful tone for the evening as the holiday concert season gets underway.
Cougar Marching Band Wraps Up Stunning Season
The Cougar Marching Band presented its moving field show, Let It Be, at State Championships, wrapping up an incredible season.
FUNDED: CHSMPA Helps CHS Purchase New Truck for Cougar Marching Band
CHSMPA chipped in with CHS to purchase the Cougar Marching Band a new truck to move its equipment all over the district (and to compete all over NJ).
