Noteworthy Appears at Adelphi’s SingStrong Festival

Columbia High School’s own Noteworthy a cappella group rocked the Performing Arts Center at Adelphi University on January 31, as part of the SingStrong A Cappella Festival, a national event that brought together outstanding high school, collegiate, and professional a cappella ensembles.

The SingStrong Festival, now celebrating its 20th year, featured a High School Competition as part of a weekend filled with concerts, workshops, and coaching sessions. Noteworthy took the stage alongside ensembles from across New York and New Jersey, as well as groups from as far as Tennessee and Arizona. Noteworthy delivered a confident and spirited set on the Saturday matinee stage, representing CHS with creativity and enthusiasm.

Participation in SingStrong offered Noteworthy a chance not only to compete but also to learn and grow through classes, coaching and clinics.

CHSMPA extends its congratulations to the student performers as well as director and advisor Nicholas Diaz, Vocal Music Teacher at CHS.

CHSMPA is proud to have helped fund this trip and to have helped make participation in this enriching experience possible. We thank our donors and members for their support.
